If you are sponsoring NYU alumni, you must use their non-NYU email for the request.
Sponsors must submit an Access Request Form through NYU’s visitor management system each time a visitor or vendor needs access to NYU buildings or activities (including unexpected, last-minute visits). Langone/School of Medicine (SOM) employees and students may enter NYU downtown buildings using their Langone ID card and Langone Vax Pass. Visitors, vendors, and affiliates must be sponsored by a current NYU student, faculty member, or employee. If you cannot provide test results to these standards, you are not approved to access NYU buildings or NYU-sponsored activities (on or off campus). The test must have been obtained within the 3 days (72 hours) prior to each date of access to NYU. Visitors and Vendors claiming a valid medical or religious exemption must attest to their valid exemption and be able to present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result upon request. Note: Social, political, or economic philosophies, or personal preferences with respect to immunization do not justify an exemption. Religious exemptions may be claimed only for genuine and sincerely held religious beliefs which are contrary to the practice of immunization.Medical exemptions may be claimed only if a licensed physician, licensed nurse practitioner, or licensed midwife (caring for a pregnant affiliate, vendor, or visitor) explicitly instructed you not to receive the COVID-19 vaccination because such vaccination may be detrimental to your health or is otherwise medically contraindicated.Note: Visitors, vendors, and affiliates are no longer required to display a Violet Go pass to access campus. Note: proof of compliance with NYU’s vaccination policy is not required for minors before their first birthday. All visitors, vendors, and affiliates older than one year of age must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and boosted (once eligible and by NYU’s deadline) with an FDA-authorized or WHO-listed vaccine.
